Finished Barbarian Bag by davehalleng Finished Barbarian Bag by davehalleng
Many Hours later the bag is done. This thing is fairly heavy, made from 8 oz Cowhide with magnetic studs for the pockets. Measures about 14"X8". If you want it let me know.

I'll have to get it down an measure it, but the big pocket is about 14 by 16 inches.

I kinda see why you call it barbarian... tho'..mmmm I have one I finally called after a town with amazing mosques in it, but I was gonna call it barbarian silk road bag... it's kind of inbetween like yours if that makes any sense? [link]

In any case, I like the ruggedness of this example and the different depths of staining etc which gives it a well-travelled look... shall fav it forthwith...Peter

Thanks, I was originally going to use this for a work/ saddle bag on my motorcycle, however it came out the wrong size for that, and it's quite a bit heavier than I thought it would be. I would be a good carry on bag or other luggage item.
